PROJECT INTERSECT’s second issue focuses on understandings of VIOLENCE in the context of approaches to radical earth, animal, and feminist liberation.

Submissions that address concerns such as the following are welcome:

— How must revolutionary movements define, utilize, and critique violence?
— Which violences are counted as acceptable casualties of revolutionary struggle, and which are off-limits?
— Who decides what is permissible and what is unethical? How do women, people of color, the working class, the otherly abled, children, nonhuman animals, and the earth figure in questions of violence?


PROJECT INTERSECT encourages submissions from persons of all ages, embodiments, abilities, genders, ethnicities, interests, and backgrounds.

— Submissions must directly address concerns relevant to radical (eco)feminism, anti-capitalism, ethical veganism, and/or intersectional ethics.
— We accept short (750-1,000-word) fiction/nonfiction pieces, academic or critical essays, book or film reviews, poetry, and visual arts (painting, photography, collage, etc.) submissions.
— Include your preferred name, professional affiliation (if any), and a brief description of the submission in the body of the email. Submitted materials may be included as an attachment (PDF, Word Doc, etc.) OR pasted in the body of the email.

Project Intersect is a radical feminist crit-lit zine that features timely perspectives on ethical veganism, ecofeminism and the collective struggle against capitalist patriarchy.
