Organisé par Thiemo Breyer & Maxime Doyon

August 21st-23rd, 2013
McGill University, Montréal
Thomson House Ballroom
3650 Rue McTavish

To have a perceptual experience is to be confronted with a possible way the world is. Perceptual experience raises by itself the question of whether things are as our experiences present them as being, and this constitutes the normative pretense of every perception. But can perception provide by itself the required norm for justifying its claim to truth? The speakers for this conference will address this question from three perspectives psychopathological, analytical, and phenomenological.
